It reduces drafts and outside air that penetrate a normal home through cracks and seams. This reduces the chance of insulation damage due to condensation.
Windows Superwindows ® were installed to provide lots of light while saving on fuel bills. We also installed a large circular window to allow even more light into the home. Here are the main benefits of the windows and the patio doors Maintenance-free. Attractive streamlined design. Superior insulation properties. Ease of operation. Resist condensation. No deterioration from rot, rust, corrosion, blistering or peeling. As vinyl never warps, shrinks or expands, the windows and doors glide open and shut effortlessly. High tech glass Low-E glass, a special high performance coating system which effectively acts as a barrier to retain radiant heat within the home. Combined with Low-E glazing, you have today's most advanced glass available. The windows we used will also retain their structural integrity virtually forever. Unlike traditional window frames, P.V.C. resists condensation and will not rot, decay, peel or mildew. Most important, we understand that windows are a critical area of the home for energy conservation, so we used Superwindows ®, which are designed for maximum energy efficiency to ensure lower heating and cooling bills.
Insulated Exterior Doors The exterior doors are steel clad with an insulated core, compression weather-stripping, and raised thermal break.
Floors A mixture of marble (ground floor) and imported Canadian Oak flooring (all bedrooms and top floor), have been utilised to stabilise the temperature within the home, during the extreme heat in summer, and the damp humid weather throughout the winter. On the first floor (106 m2) all floors (except in the bathrooms, which are marble) are of high quality oak, imported from Canada On the ground floor, quality marble has been placed throughout.
Terraces There is a terrace (private) for the owners or occupiers of the master bedroom. This area gets the sun most of the day.
