2011:
The month of MARCH and APRIL 2011 were very interesting. I was asked to participate in programs that are shown on IB -3 TV - the Balearic Island governmental TV station.
I did 3 shows of a documentary series about the 20th Century - "El Siglo XX": On the great inventions of the time, great events, and great disasters. Each show was about 40 minutes long.
In March and April of 2011 I had the honour of being invited twice on the IB3 TV show "MOMENTS" to comment on the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami, as well as explain what a Nuclear Reactor is.
One of the longest shows I have ever done was a TWO HOUR program called Moments about the USA influence on Mallorcan habits, culture, music and living. Señor Tumy Bestard, the US Consul here in Mallorca for over 45 years was a guest, talking about his fantastic experiences with President Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Presidents Nixon and Carter. I have known him for at least 20 years. I brought some model US cars and magazines on Hollywood, Beverly Hills as well as baseball caps to show part of the USA culture.

1992 to 2009:
TELEVISION INCA CANAL 28 - TEVEI - LOCALIA TEVEI: "CIENCIA Y VIDA" - TV show on Science and Life: Roberto Gourlay and VALENTIN MENDOZA in Spanish. Running non-stop since 1992, this is the LONGEST RUNNING LOCALLY PRODUCED NON-NEWS/SPORTS TV SHOW ON MALLORCA - the show was on every Wednesday - (Los miercoles) - 22:00h to 23:00h, repeated every Thursday (Jueves) at 14:00h and every SUNDAY at 17:30.
NEW FOTOS of the show "CIENCIA Y VIDA" on LOCALIA TVI Inca channel 42. This show has been running with TEVEI - Televisión INCA, then LOCALIA in the year 2,001, and then in 2009, TEVEI again, ongoing since 1992.
At this moment in time, due to the world economic crisis, TEVEI broadcasts re-runs of their shows including Ciencia y Vida. It is hoped that by December 2009 the economic situation of TEVEI will improve and normal programming LIVE can resume.

Below is a picture taken when BBC TELEVISION visited and filmed the Studios of TV INCA and the
show "CIENCIA Y VIDA" that was later boradcast in England.
Since 1992, I have been doing TV shows on Channel 28 TVI Inca television on subjects relating to NASA, Science, Astronomy, Technology, Cryonization, Films, Earth Sciences, UFO´s, Roswell, Life after Death, Quantum Physics, Communications Technology and Planetary explorations as well as The Search for Extraterrestrial Life in the universe.
These shows feature fotos and videos obtained from such direct sources as NASA, interviews of such noted personalities as Captain Gene Cernan - the Apollo 10 and Apollo 17 astronaut - the last man to walk on the moon.
For the UFO series I travelled with the family to Roswell New Mexico to research "in sitiu" the Roswell case, interviewed the staff and management of the Roswell UFO museum and also obtained information and testimony from sister Gloria Alderson, an expert on UFO´s since the 1960´s.
Introduction: In 1992 it began with Host Tony Sastre, Guest: Roberto Gourlay.
As the years went on, Tony Sastre was replaced with Beatriz - the VERY talented news anchorlady for the TEVEI station.
Now the Host is talented singer and artist, with 3 new locally produced CD´s on sale, Sr. VALENTIN MENDOZA

As of the 21st of September 1999, I have been doing a 13 week series called "En Orbita" (In orbit) which will feature much of the same fare as I have been doing on Channel 28 TVI. The major difference is that Channel 37 Tele Nova is a much larger TV station, with an entire 3 walled stage decorated just for this show. The resources available to the production crew will allow for better special effects, props, videos and production.

NATIONAL TELEVISION APPEARANCES on TVE-1 the national Spanish TV station:
In 1980, TVE of the Balearic Islands came to do a report with me on the conflict between DISCOTHEQUES and
BARS, where bars were offering disco dance music, dancing, TWO DRINKS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE, FREE ENTRANCE, and
staying open till past 4AM. I was director of ATLANTIS DISCO MAGALLUF at the time and they did an extensive
interview, filming the disco in action as well as bar owners to get the other side of the story. It was great
fun!
